[Golf FanHouse] It's either the most phenomenal feat ever in the game of golf or not a very smart thing if he played and he doesn't come back healthy," he added.I mean, I guess it is easy to agree with Harmon. If Tiger comes back fine, it's a round of "Wow, you're incredible" and if he is never the same we can all shake our finger at him and say, "You are stubborn, why chance it?" As competitive as Tiger is, I don't think a pack of wild boars and an alien invasion would have kept him off Torrey Pines last summer.

LPGA Founder Betty Jameson Dead at 89 (Wizbang Sports)
[Wizbang Sports] Jameson was inducted to the Hall of Fame of Women's Golf in 1951, and became one of six inaugural members of the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame in 1967 -- the LPGA Hall of Fame chose to recognize 1951 as the retroactive date of her induction.

[LPGA.com News & Entertainment] The project is managed by The Golf Guys, LLC, under the direction of Marvin French, one of the principals at the highly acclaimed Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Oregon. As part of the restoration, designed by course architect and former Augusta National Golf Club Superintendent, Billy Fuller, all of the greens, tees, fairways and rough have been re-turfed, all of the bunkers have been restored, and select holes have been lengthened so that the course now boasts a championship yardage of 7,333 yards.
