Well, when your 20 of your friends show up for an overnight party with djambes, guitars, tinwhistles and flutes in hand, I suppose that music isn’t far behind. For the most part, my friends are very musical, and it’s not unheard of for songbooks to be passed out so that those of us unable to play an instrument can drunkenly bleat out Stan Rogers tunes on the top of our lungs. So yeah, I can totally see how Kristy might have felt a bit overwhelmed by the lot of us.

[Mena.typepad.com] Not A Dollarshort: Last week I spent some time in New York, followed by a conference in Chicago and finally Charlotte, North Carolina to visit my parents and grandparents (we are not from North Carolina -- they moved there three years ago because of a job my father got). Anyway, a lot of travel was followed by a relatively restful weekend with my family (sans Ben) in which my mother and I shopped and I got my first pedicure ever. Yeah, all nice and normal stuff.
