[Golf Tips and News] Toms knock on the door of 5 to hole his shot and give himself an ace. This may be the momentum he needs to take home the win. But with Couples and Woods on his back, there will be no letting up.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Badbeatblog.blogspot.com] Bad Beat Blog: He was an obnoxious ass but he was the chip leader for much of the contest. I started catching cards four-handed and he started making terrible decisions, eventually knocked out on a horrible call by the very guy he had been insulting from the first hand. Sometimes Karma is cool. I managed to eliminate the other player and had a 5-3 chip lead with the blinds at 200/400.
[the virtual nuts] turbo WPT satellite: One limper in front of me in LP, and I limp with 67s. Player to my left that I’ve been in several pots with raises to 600. All fold back to me, and I’m getting 3.25/1 on my money with a hand that is very likely to be live, with great implied odds if I can catch a lucky flop. I figure him for two big cards, or he would have raised more.
[Badbeatblog.blogspot.com] Bad Beat Blog: She has fully supported my first career as an IT professional even though it has meant giving up her life twice to follow my job. She fully supports my second "career" as a poker player even though it means a lot of nights going to bed without me and my occasional surly moods when I am losing. She's an amazing mother who gives our daughter everything she needs and still has time for me. She's always in a good mood even when she's not in a good mood and it's not an act.
[Ametro.net] February-2005 SM Blog: In other news...not to be outdone by the North Korea's insane clown posse of one, Kim Jong Il, who just celebrated a nice birthday while patting himself on the back for being a brave porcupine (against the evil US "tiger")...now we have even more whackiness in what Jon Stewart likes to call Mess-O-Potamia. Things are getting funky with Syria, they've been funky with Iran, and now those two nations have formed a "united front" presumably against us (even if they claim otherwise). Not to mention some strange explosion in the region where Iran supposedly has its nuclear facility. At least now they've got a more reasonable explanation for it than an empty fuel tank falling from a plane. Does anyone else find all of this a little disconcerting or do I just read too many news sites?
[Ace.mu.nu] Ace of Spades HQ: And their commenters pretty much dismantled it, making some of the same points as dorkafork. In a nutshell, Kevin Smith loved Episodes I and II, so his opinion is worthless. You can even see in this latest review that he has this "maybe this will finally shut you jerks up" tone. Well, OK, I'd love to be shut up, but, sorry, the only reviews I'll consider trusting will come from people that were very disappointed with Episodes I and II.
[Poker-rss-feeds.freesuperhost.com] OJ's Poker Blog (RSS Feed): I used to play every day including my days off and after runningtournaments but since I started playing online I'm able to curtail my time awayfrom home a bit. This has helped keep me sane as I've been living and breathingpoker for 90+ hours a week. I feel balance is important since ultimately to winat poker you need to be playing your best at all times. Eat right, get someexercise, and make some time for fulfilling things outside of poker and you'llenjoy life as a professional poker player.
